Trac Measurement Systems has announced that it has obtained an extension to its UKAS scope to offer verifications of articulated arms. Trac has been UKAS accredited since January 2010 for CMM verification.
Articulated arm verifications are carried out using the company's Koba ceramic length bar, at customers' facilities or at its dedicated temperature-controlled area within its UKAS laboratory in Telford. Trac Measurement Systems will be exhibiting at Subcon 2011, where its team will be on hand to demonstrate the articulated arm verification.
